My wife and I and our 2 yr old daughter are relocating to Island of Kauai, Hawaii - suggestions?

We want to know of people’s experiences bringing up children on the Island, schools, suggestions of best locations to live, etc. Please only answer this if you have lived in Kauai for several years.
