It offers a wide variety of things to do, including great beaches, a world-class aquarium (the Maui Ocean Center), colorful old towns like Lahaina, and great scuba diving and snorkeling. You can drive to the top of Haleakala to watch the sun rise, and if you're more adventurous you can bicycle down it. The road trip to Hana is a must for anyone who's never been there.
