Best Hawaiian Island to visit?

My family is planning a trip to Hawaii for the upcoming year and was wondering what would be the best island to visit. We have been to Honolulu before so we want to visit either the Big Island, Maui, or Kauai. Any thoughts on which one to visit and the different things to do. Thanks!

Personally I love Maui. It offers a wide variety of things to do, including great beaches, a world-class aquarium (the Maui Ocean Center), colorful old towns like Lahaina, and great scuba diving and snorkeling. You can drive to the top of Haleakala to watch the sun rise, and if you’re more adventurous you can bicycle down it. The road trip to Hana is a must for anyone who’s never been there. The winding road has a seemingly endless supply of amazing views, scenic waterfalls, lush forests, and other attractions.
